After the destruction of his restaurant’s main branch due to the Beirut blast and the closure of all the other branches due to the financial and economic crisis, Ara persevered and continued investing in the tourism sector. He opened a new restaurant with two goals in mind: (1) to prove that tourism in Lebanon has the potential to be an essential element in the Lebanese economy; and (2) to create new job opportunities for young people to help them stay in Lebanon and not look for opportunities abroad.

Since the beginning of his professional career, Engineer Hani Saliba believed in Lebanon. He started his business career and invested in downtown Beirut, until the commercial center closed due to political divisions in late 2006. Consequently, he was forced to emigrate and develop his career in several countries. After the outbreak of the revolution on October 17, 2019, Eng. Saliba worked to develop his network with a group of independent Lebanese who rejected the state of affairs in Lebanon. Infuriated with the sociopolitical situation, he intensified his humanitarian and social activity by launching a series of initiatives to quickly respond to the Lebanese crisis. He formed a group consisting of several operational teams dedicated to quickly transforming his initiatives into realized projects and created an institutional framework that can create sustainable economic growth.
